Astrology as Psychology: Manifest This, Spiritual Seekers {Part Three}

This blog series started as a way to show that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work. It doesn’t work because it’s merely wishful thinking. To manifest anything, you actually have to do something about it. A million dollars does not fall into your lap, unless you actually have a way to make that money.

Let’s back it up a notch, though. How do you even know what you’re asking to manifest is right for you? How do you know if you’re on the right track?

In a culture like ours, it’s easy to fall into the trap of “keeping up with the Jonese’s” and doing what you think you should be doing simply because your culture says so.

What if there was a fool proof way to make sure that your efforts were spent in the right direction?

Luckily, there is.

Astrology gives us the blueprint to our soul’s code, and shows us our reigning energies and ultimate purpose. There’s no need to further stress or sweat the idea “What am I supposed to be doing?” or even, “Who am I?” Within the stars is encoded the answers you seek.

These answers are highly individual and incredibly unique, just as each of us is a unique individual. We are all complex mixes of the vast energies available in the astrological horoscope. Even more, astrologers have worked for millenia to plot these energies correctly to give us our best shot at manifesting our full potential.

When we look at a horoscope, what we see is the blueprint of our soul.

This is essentially a map of our psyche. All our dreams, urges, complexes, shadow, strengths, weaknesses, and destiny are right there on this map. What we see clearly is whether or not we are expressing the highest potential of the energies present, and whether we are living in alignment with our soul’s purpose.

The good news here is that, because it’s all laid out, we can’t run away from the answers.

Astrology reveals the truth of who we are in neutral, yet certain terms.

We’re either in alignment, or we’re not. If we are not living the highest expresssion of the elements of the chart, the good news is, that we have the energy present for greatness.

For example, if our chart shows a signature for ease with making money, but we don’t, then we know we have that potential, and can channel our energy into turning that on to full-speed. If our chart shows that our greatest lesson is to move through our family baggage, then it’s time to step up to the plate, and make every family encounter count as a calculated move toward spiritual freedom. If we see that our destiny is to explore the occult (like, astrology!), and yet we’re stuck behind a desk, then it’s time to get a move on and start moving toward your dreams.

When we don’t live in alignment, we suffer. When we come into accord with our astrological blueprint and manifest our soul’s purpose, we become free.
