Rough Moments in a Mystical World

Are you a Modern Mystic or a Yogi having a rough moment? Whether you are a Yoga Instructor, Astrology Mystic, Spiritual Coach or read the Tarot Cards for other people, we all have moments of feeling blocked, burned out, or emotionally drained. It happens to all of us!
Let’s look at this from the basics that we teach our students and clients.
- It's okay to feel this way; you spend all your time serving others and trying to lift them. Even with all your skills, you forget to take care of yourself.
- Then comes that guilty feeling that you are not serving students/clientele at 100%.
- When we get down, we think: What am I doing all this for? Why?
- I am so tired, I can’t think, I feel blocked.
First off, we all have these moments no matter what field we are in. We all have moments when even the things we love to do the most require actual effort to get through the day. Sometimes, we even feel resentful of those obligations. It is perfectly natural.
So what can we do about these moments?
There are many things to help us understand and recharge:
- Look at your pattern. These feelings are often linked to past events in your life. You may not be aware of it, but our body and subconscious mind are, much like muscle memory. The loss of a loved one, significant traumas such as a bad accident, illness, or substantial emotional shift in a person’s life can trigger these feelings to reemerge down to the hour on the exact date. They generally last as long as the original event. Knowing the pattern can help to break that cycle or at least subside the symptoms that occur. Knowledge is power; allow time to acknowledge experience and release.
- Do Yoga, even if you don't feel like it; get moving with your practice. Remember, Yoga means to yoke. A gentle Asana with a mindful transitional flow from pose to pose will help to ease and release the physical and emotional pain. This also keeps the mind busy, freeing your thoughts from dwelling on these curious feelings. Sat Chitt Ananda! Quieting the mind stuff to find bliss!
- Check where you are at in your astrology chart, tarot cards, or Spiritual Coaching. Validate your path and where you are at. The Mystic mediums, no matter what you use, will show you the bumps in the road of your life and how to work around them, and there is a better change coming.
- Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Breathwork, Chakra clearing, and smudging are powerful tools used even without experience in a small manner!
Remember who you are and what you came here to do. Coping skills like these not only help us to be better Yogis and Mystics for others, but that energy flows out from us to people we will never meet. You are that powerful! One small act of kindness, especially towards ourselves and others, can create a ripple effect that changes the world one person at a time. You got this! You know this! You are enough and more!
Healer, heal thyself!
Om Shanti!
